F1 in Schools

As Presenting Partner, we see our role in the F1 in Schools Programme as essential to equipping our future leaders with key life and management skills and in highlighting how this dynamic sport can both inspire and motivate young people on and off the race track.

Running in over 30 countries, the not-for-profit educational programme aims to capture students’ imaginations by harnessing the popularity of Formula 1 to foster a greater appreciation for engineering, science and technology among the younger generation.

Having initially worked alongside industry experts to create a business plan, source sponsorship and manage a budget, students then work in groups of 3-6 individuals to collectively plan, build, and eventually race, miniature CO2 powered F1 cars, which are designed from a single block of balsa wood.
