Dunia Finance
Dunia Finance, in which Mubadala holds a 31% stake, is an Abu Dhabi-based consumer finance institution that provides products to unbanked and underbanked consumers in the UAE. Dunia’s product suite includes personal loans, auto loans and credit cards, as well as a range of other products catering to local businesses, such as Labor Guarantees, Wage Protection System products, and corporate deposits.
Since inception, Dunia Finance has successfully achieved its performance targets while expanding its customer base. The company has also been presented with a number of industry awards, including a spot on Gulf News’ “UAE A-List of Customer Focused Organizations” in 2011 and “Best Use of Technology” by Banker Middle East in 2009.
